For the launch of Omega's ‘Aqua Terra’ Watch collection, The Department produced a high-end immersive experience that transported guests into a world brought to life by colour. The Department built a unique set of sensory worlds, each brought to life through performance, sound design, light design, unique scents, and art direction.
A star-studded theatrical experience highlighting the lifestyle pillars and product features of the new Lexus RX, that took place in multiple locations across London. Lexus invited 100 luxury lifestyle journalists to attend the immersive car launch, designed to echo and evolve the above-the-line concept of a day in the life as a celebrity.
An integrated online/offline activation that merged the physical with innovative technology. The Department created an Iridescent wings art installation, flanked by floating HP laptops, making people stop in their tracks across these high footfall locations. The AR app captured dragonflies fluttering around and an AR game gave participants the chance to win a top-of-the-range laptop!
To celebrate the 68th World Cup Ceremony, The Department created an immersive journey through Russia, disembarking at all host cities, delighting guests with local culture, customs, and gastronomy. The official opening celebration was attended by 1,500 prestigious FIFA guests at the landmark Gostiny Dvor, Moscow.
Anamorphic content and projection mapping were skilfully used by The Department to create unique content for the European Championships opening ceremony, sponsored by BMW 50 years on from the Summer Olympics in 1972.
To launch ASIC’s #IMoveLondon campaign, The Department devised a stimulating activation that encouraged Londoners to switch up their commute. 'Run The Tube' was a multi-sensory art installation with the light patterns programmed to sync with dawn and dusk soundtracks specially composed by Desmond Lambert. Shortlisted for the Campaign Event Awards 2018 and Eurobest 2017.
