A Celebration of Creativity, Culture, and Community
Gifted & Black is more than an event—it’s a movement. Bringing together filmmakers, artists, and industry leaders, it showcases the incredible talent of Black and POC creatives while fostering connection, inspiration, and opportunity. This carefully curated night blends film, art, live performance, a DJ set, and networking to create a space where underrepresented talent is seen, supported, and celebrated.
The Gifted & Black Experience
6:30 PM – Arrival & Welcome
Guests are welcomed into the first-floor bar of All Is Joy for a pre-screening drink, light networking, and a chance to soak in the atmosphere before the screenings begin.
7:30 PM – Film Screening
A 90-minute showcase of short films selected by our jury panel, featuring powerful, inspiring stories from Black and POC creatives across the UK.
Post-Screening – Entertainment & Exhibition
The celebration continues with a live performance in the studio, a gallery exhibition of photography and artwork, and a DJ set to keep the energy flowing.
Late Evening – Celebration & Networking
Guests mingle, dance, and connect with creatives, industry leaders, and tastemakers, rounding off a night full of culture, creativity, and community.
Special Guest Host:
The evening is hosted by Mr Cee, a London-based comedian known for his cool, charming, and socially conscious style. With experience performing at major UK venues and warming up TV audiences, he brings energy, humour, and connection to the night.
